EXPLOSIVE ENCOUNTER: THE GOOD TIMES!

GOOD TIMES with SUPER FRIENDS in BRUNEI!

Last Friday, I had a wonderful dinner time with my SUPER friends here in Brunei. Actually, at first, I was hesitant if I’ll accept Lisa’s invitation on a Friday dinner because I had to host an event at the Mall.
    Our Dinner!
Lisa and Kuya Rhenee hosted our dinner. They offered their cozy place. They had spaghetti homemade meatballs and some chicken pa. On our side (Elna and I), I brought some quarter size chicken that I bought from Ayamku (as recommended by Elna), while Elna brought some French bread (na pinagtiyagaang gawing Garlic Bread kahit gutom na gutom na ang lahat! hahaha!) and some chocolate cake.

Well, apart from the yummy food, the exchange of stories was truly unforgettable na sinabayan pa ng relaxing music. Speaking of music, si Elna, mejo na-distract ata sa isang song while she was sharing a story. Theme song ata niya with her ex? Pak!

The night was full of chika! We shared our insights on love, marriage, religion, RH bill, showbiz, and a lot more. But of course, the icing on top of the umaatikabong chikahan was Elna’s questions and quest about love lalo na ang paghahanap ng Groom!

On the side ng happy kuwentuhan, we had some chicharon na galing sa Pinas, some suka, at keropok.

Elna, Jovert and I left at around 1:30 am. And honestly, parang I was back lang sa Pinas during our chikahan. Thank you very much everyone sa gabing super saya! Pak! Til our next dinner, chikahan and who knows, overseas galagus! =)

    Maraming maraming salamat! =)

    GOOD TIMES AT THE MALL

Finally, after months of hosting drought, muli akong umarangkada sa pag-ho-host ng event.  That started last week, sa isang wedding. Actually, I opted na wag munang tumanggap ng raket for the past months dahil I really prioritize school. Alam niyo naman, sa dami ng school requirements, minsan, kulang pa ang weekends to tie loose ends and allot some time for my social life.

Thankfully, now na maluwag na ang sked ko which I think will last until the end of October dahil November ay start na naman ng sem, I accepted some hosting raket. Siempre, need din talaga ng moooooolah for the upcoming enrollment!

I hosted the Art of Elegant Lifestyle Expo at the mall. It’s a four-day event but the organizer, my friend, asked me to host the first three days. Gusto ko lang talagang may kakaibang gawin such as to entertain people!

The first day of the event was focused on the exhibitors and on my performance. I acted like a talk show host in a musical talk show. Imagine, I sang six songs. Then I had three interviews.

The second day was exciting. I hosted the Happy Time with the Local Artists of Brunei. It was a two-hour show packed with performances from 6 local artists of Brunei namely, Qeez, Shah, Sonny of Kontest Danggyut Indonesia, Pei Pei, Dayat and Eja!

The third day was even more exciting. One of the competition I proposed I came into life, the old white T-shirt design competition. In the morning, we had the colouring contests for kids. In the afternoon, we had my “old t-shirt design competition.” On the side, there were performances from Ballet Regina @ Le Swan Studios. The event capped off with my performance and the announcement of the winners! Kabog ang audience, di nila alam, kumakanta ako! Pak!

Thankfully, on the third day of the event that was on Sunday, the program ended earlier and I got to hear mass. Despite the pagod, I really rushed my way to the church to thank God for all his blessings! Sa totoo lang, super blessings talaga!

Til my next raket! Pak! =)
