DAY 13 - 15: ROAD TO 65 FITNESS CHALLENGE "BABUYAN EPISODE"

The moment I woke up last Saturday morning I realized that I had PORK in my mouth. Kidding! But let me just tell you all my dear readers na talagang napabayaan ko ang aking diet last Saturday until Monday. Positively, with a massive guilt feeling, I burnt calories through swimming and jogging. O sige, pilit ko lang jinu-justify ang aking pig-out session. Since pinaguusapan na rin naman, eh itodo na natin ang chismisan at babuyang ito. Chos!

If you think you’re ready to scream, “Pabaya sa Diet” or you want to say “Walang silbi ang fitness challenge,”  no one is stopping you. But for the sake of my pagsisisi sa nagawang paglamon, I will share to you what really happened for the past three days.

Read on to make asar yourself. Now na!

“Saturday: “Carbs kung Carbs!”

I walked in to the nearest bakery from our office. The moment I got it, the tuna sandwich spoke, “Kuya, it’s been a while. Bilhin mo ako. Healthy naman ako.” Nanghina ako. Napabili ako.

Back in the office, kumaripas ang oras. Di ko namalayan ay lunch time. Since in our office we’re not allowed to have lunch yet we’re released in the office by 1 pm, I opted to get a light snack. Since busog pa nga ako sa mapangakit na tuna sandwich, the red and fresh apple on my desk spoke,”Kuya, on fitness challenge ka di ba? Healthy ang apple, go ka na!” Soon, ngumangasab na ako ng apple.

By 1:30, I was in the Mall with my friend Elna. Guess what, inakit ako ng pasta and pista. Elna and I ate at  Grazie Mauri. As I was eating the pasta and pizza, patuloy ang mga mumunting tinig ng fats at silay sumisigaw ng “Yey! Go Earvs! Go go go sa pagtaba!” Deadma naman ako. Lafes din talaga. Meanwhile, I had pineapple juice.

After lunch, my food adventure didn’t stop. After strolling, buying some shirt and doing my grocery, si Pearl Milk Tea naman ang umakit sa akin. I heard the cute pearls screaming, “Earvs, fave mo kami di ba? Why deadma? Have a cup na!” Ayon, bumigay ako.

When I reached home I was just so tired and so I opted to rest. By 8 pm, I was already in Sir Joey’s house and we we’re discussing about the script project that I’m doing for him.

Happy naman ang food kasi super healthy. Sir Joey served coffee and yes, lumpiang ubod. Narinig ko yung lumpia,”Ayan, di ka na masyado maguilty sa kinain mo.” I smiled. Chos!

“Sunday: Lunod sa Kain”

It’s the birthday of His Majesty Sultan Bolkiah. With this, karamihan sa mga daan ay naka-road block. Dahil na-anticipate ko na ito, maaga ako umalis ng bahay to find a parking area. Thank God, I was able to park in a nearby lot, 1,000 tumblings away from the church. Sinukat sa tumbling?

After I sang in the church, I had my lunch at home. I had my usual brown rice and chicken adobo.

Nung hapon, doon na nagsimula ang kainan. Prior to going to Marazmala for a swim, talagang natulog ako. Super inaatake ako ng migraine and the best way to fight the pain eh ang itulog.

Awake and mejo energetic na,I prepared my swimming attire and went to Marazmala. I also bought some cupcakes and a pearl milk tea. As usual, pampasexy ulit.

Our swimming session ended soon and we found ourselves at Sir Rommel’s place. We had our dinner there. Siempre, di ko napigilan ang kain ko. I had rice. On top of that, I had adobo, fish, and tofu. Pero ang panira, nagdala kasi ako ng chocolate lava cake, yon ang dessert!

In the end,  gawin ko man ang magsisi sa dami ng nakain, wala na. Napa-dighay na lang ako. Chos!

“Monday: Kaneeeeeeen!”

Early morning, I missed my Taichi session. Late ng bumangon kasi puyat the other night and I opted to just stay in bed. Maulan pa so masarap talaga matulog.

When I opened my e-mail, napasigaw talaga ako. Guess what, yours truly received a good news: I’m offered a scholarship from a University for my PhD! Super halos maloka ako sa saya. Seriously, been waiting and praying for it. So nung lumabas na positibo, bigla akong nabuhusan ng kaligayahan at na-inspire.

Since I was so elated with the good news ay napaluto ako ng Sinigang na Manok. Dahil diyan, napakanin ako. Then the eating didn’t stop. I had magnum ice cream for dessert.

Here’s more, Elna, my friend cooked Champorado. With that, I came over to her house and got the sweet treat. Ayon, sugar kung sugar at kanin kung kanin.

Dahil sa naganap na kainan ay talagang napa-work out na ako ng hapon. Happy naman dahil talagang todo napawisan.

“Lesson Learned?”

It’s sometimes O-K to eat what you want and enjoy the moment. Just don’t forget to sweat or burn what you make lamon. Wag hayaang dumaan ang tatlong araw ng walang ehersisyo sa katawan!

Yes, on to my 16th Day!
