DAY 26 T0 28: ROAD TO 65 FITNESS CHALLENGE: "TOP 20 WAYS TO COMPLETE THE STATEMENT, "PUMAPAYAT BA AKO? HINDI,_______________ "

As of writing, two days to and go and I’m on my 30th day of making pilit myself on this Road to 65 Fitness Challenge. Making piliti talaga? Well, based on the past days, mukhang hindi naman ata ako nagloose ng weight. I guess it’s because halos lamon ako ng lamon sa handaan. On a positive side, I’ve been consistent with my afternoon workout session. With that, I feel light pa rin and healthy! Okay fine, sige ipilit ang konsepto na pumayat nga!

One reason that has kept me derailed in my fitness challenge is the thought of moving out of Brunei and starting a bagong buhay sa ibang lupain. Although the thought is really exciting, still, I can’t deny na talagang nagenjoy rin ako sa Brunei especially dahil sa mga kaibigan na nakasama ko. Wag na natin pagusapan ang work. Chos!

So the past three days ay talagang nakakagulantang in terms of kainan. Since Friday, I’ve been eating crazy! I was invited by a close friend over dinner, another dinner (buffet!) came in Saturday and on Sunday, I attended the birthday celebration of my supah friend Jovert. Di ako nakatanggi sa kainan. Lamon kung lamon. And as I was eating, I just conditioned myself to work out – more!!!!

With all of the kainan, I felt that I’ve not lost any pounds for the past months. Parang dengue ang paglalaro ng bigat ko sa timbangan. On and off ang pagsexy at paglobo! With this, I thought of the TOP 20 ways to complete the statement "Pumapayat ba ako? Hindi, ____________"

DAY 24- 25: ROAD TO 65 FITNESS CHALLENGE - TOP 20 WAYS TO COMPLETE THE STATEMENT "PUMAPAYAT BA AKO? OO, ___________"

Since last week ay nagsimula na akong magplano for my upcoming vacation in the Philippines. As you all know, at para sa hindi pa nakaka-knows, I'm going to _______ (secret!). Chos! Yes, I'm leaving soon Brunei and be back in the Philippines to proseso my _____ and eventually make lipad to Land Down Undah. As my friend said, doon naman daw ako maghahasik ng kaguluhan.

The past days have been crazy. To the max ang kaguluhan sa isipan ko. But I'm simply happy. The mere fact that (finally) I'll be able to fulfill my dream of getting a PhD, I'm very elated that I'm blessed with a scholarship na magbibigay daan upang manirahan ako sa isang panibagong lupain at umunlad. And hopefully in the near future ay makapagturo ako sa isang Unibersidad o di kaya naman ay maging researcher, or Artista! Chos naman sa artista.

Truckloads (as in lebel ng trak ng basura) of thoughts have been brewing in my mind for the past days. As in ang dami daming kong iniisip maliban pa sa fitness challenge na ito. Aside from the conference paper that I'm working on, which is to be presented at Chulalongkorn University in Thailand in October, I've been also busy pondering on (and reminiscing) the 4 years plus of my life in the Abode of Peace. Marami na ring kaganapan na bumago sa buhay ko. With this in mind, as I prepare for the line up of send-offs that I need to accommodate, I've decided to cut my fitness challenge (blogging pero go go go pa rin ang workout) sooon (hanggang Day 30 na lang) and will work on blogging about my feelings on leaving a place and starting anew. I know you'll be delighted to know more about that.

But before I start sobbing like a child dahil siguradong mamimiss ko ang buhay ko rito, apart from showcasing the yummylicious foodamba that I enjoyed for the past two days, allow me (Siempre wala namang kokontra kasi blog ko ito) the TOP 20 Ways to complete the statement, "Pumapayat ba ako? Oo, ____________"

Makibasa na! Now na!

DAY 22 - 23: ROAD TO 65 FITNESS CHALLENGE "TOP 20 FUNNY NEWS FEED ABOUT WEIGHT, FOOD, FITNESS AND HUNGER"

Drugs. With too much intake, nakaka-adik. So am I into drugs? Of course not. But I realized that I've been drinking Choco-o-Cino, coffee with chocolate, for the past two days. Dahil inaantok ako ng bongga sa umaga, I really had to drink something to keep me awake. With that, mukhang naaadik na ako.

But here's the deal. As I was sipping the warm drink, I thought of some tabloid headlines, which are related to loosing weight. Dahil wala  namang tabloid dito na naglalaman ng mga nakakalokang headlines, naisip kong gumawa. Funny naman. Yes. Funny. Ang di tatawa, kukunin ni Lord. hahaha!

If you think you need a laugh? Read on and make tawa, now na!

DAY 19 - 21: ROAD TO 65 FITNESS CHALLENGE - "TOP 20 FUNNY SIGNS NA PAYAT KA NA"

It's bonggang bonggang challenging to loose weight especially in this naglipana-ang-yummy-food era. On top of that, ang bonggang bonggang camera-powered mobile phones and social networking contribute in creating appetite. Having said this, obviously, nasira ang diet ko for the past three days. Despite that, I'm still on a work in progress in achieving my desired weight, which is 65 kilos.

Instead of thriving on how I make baboy myself for the past days, I've chosen to look on the bright side. I told myself, naburn ko naman ang nakain ko because, wala, aminin na, hindi naman talaga  naburn! Chos! But seriously, as of writing, I'm now back on track in doing my fitness challenge. I really couldn't believe it that I'm on my 22nd day. Great, isn't it? Mas bongga dahil mukhang hindi naman ata nabawasan angt imbang ko. Chos!

Anyways, highway and sideways, I will share to you today some funny thoughts on how to identify if you're loosing weight. If di ka matawa, wala lang. Eh sa hindi ka natawa eh.

DAY 13 - 15: ROAD TO 65 FITNESS CHALLENGE "BABUYAN EPISODE"

The moment I woke up last Saturday morning I realized that I had PORK in my mouth. Kidding! But let me just tell you all my dear readers na talagang napabayaan ko ang aking diet last Saturday until Monday. Positively, with a massive guilt feeling, I burnt calories through swimming and jogging. O sige, pilit ko lang jinu-justify ang aking pig-out session. Since pinaguusapan na rin naman, eh itodo na natin ang chismisan at babuyang ito. Chos!

If you think you’re ready to scream, “Pabaya sa Diet” or you want to say “Walang silbi ang fitness challenge,”  no one is stopping you. But for the sake of my pagsisisi sa nagawang paglamon, I will share to you what really happened for the past three days.

Day eleven. Yes, yesterday's the eleventh day of my fitness challenge. As of writing, I'm on my ika-labindalawa na. Akalain mo yon? Magnificent! Pak!

Yesterday was a very eggggzoiting day for my fitness challenge. Ano nga ba ang ka-excite excite sa buhay ko now? Well apart from being a relationship (kiddddding!), seriously, apart from waiting for a scholarship eklavu, I'm very focused in reading tons of books and journals in preparation for my PhD. I'm also researching in advance on my study. As I mentioned in my past entries, my dissertation will focus on migrant families, virtuality and transnationalism. Nosebleed? Nako, utak ko ang nag-be-bleed.

Anywayssss, I won't be talking about my PhD topic here or any matters about postgraduate studies. What we'll talk about today is my fitness challenge exklavu which I completed yesterday. Hep, hep, hep, hindi pa tapos ang challenge. Paguusapan lang natin ang naganap yesterday.

What's more exciting I had an idea yesterday as I was sipping a sosyalang cup of CBTL and eating a banana cupcake. Yes, oo, ako na ang sosyal.

So today, let me share to you the TOP 15 funny ways to spot a person loosing weight yet trying to be a pasosyal. You may say that it's social climbing. But for the lack of a better word, let me use the word, uhm, wala ako maisip. Pak!

DAY 9: ROAD TO 65 FITNESS CHALLENGE

Yesterday was the ninth day of my fitness challenge. Based on my religiosity in doing my pampapawis routines, I can say that I'm progressing. As a proof, I checked on my weight yesterday and I found out that I'm 68Kilos. Coming from 69 to 70 and back to 68, yes, I made it happen.

Apparently yesterday I grabbed a sweet treat for myself. Irresistibly tempting, I went out of the office after enjoying my packed lunch and bought... guess what? isang pampaseksi!

DAY 8: ROAD TO 65 FITNESS CHALLENGE

Days walk fast. Hindi na maitatanggi yan. It’s just last week since I started my fitness challenge and now I’m on my eight day. This is preposterous! preposterous talaga ang word na gamitin? Okay, crazy na lang!

Unfortunately, for the past three days, mukhang na-violate ko ang aking rules on eating. I ate sweets. I had my fave pearl milk tea. And I missed exercising in the morning. Despite these nakakakonsensyang aktibidad, I’ve managed and just promised myself to be back on track. So today, on my eight, I engaged in an intensive workout session and went back to enjoying my banana diet.

DAY 6 - 7: ROAD TO 65 FITNESS CHALLENGE - EXCLUSIVE: PRIZE PRESENTATION OF THE 2012 "I LOVE BRUNEI" COMPETITION + THANKSGIVING

For the past three days, nawala ako in my fitness challenge. I tried sinful cuisine. I missed exercising in the morning or doing my Taichi. And what’s worse, I gave in to my cravings on sweet food. However, despite all of these “fatness-based” activities, I still had my conscience in full circle and so I worked on some pagpapawis session.

In this entry, I’ll chronicle three exciting days, day five to seven, of my fitness challenge. Basically this entry will cover my band rehearsal on Friday; the “I Love Brunei” Prize Presentation and Food Fest with friends on Saturday; and a laid back Sunday. These activities made my days oh-so bonggang bongga talaga!

DAY 4: ROAD TO 65 FITNESS CHALLENGE

Wohoo! Yesterday was the fourth day in my fitness challenge. As of writing I'm now on my fifth. So how did things go in my fourth day?

Nothing much happened in my fourth day. Apart from missing my Taichi session in the morning because I slept late the other night as I attended a birthday party, I just did all the necessary routines in my afternoon session workout. I jogged for 30 minutes and did some stretching - push ups, side crunches, and more.

What's intriguing in my fitness challenge is that I can't (and not allowed) to do weight lifting. You heard me right.

DAY 3: ROAD TO 65 FITNESS CHALLENGE

One of the most challenging part in doing a fitness challenge is resisting the call of temptation such as bonggang bonggang and nakakalaway na pagkain. And just yesterday, I veered away from the fitness challenge as to give way to my supah friend's Elna's birthday celebration. I thought, minsan lang naman ang kasiyahan so why not give it a try.

As usual, in a party or handaan organized by a Filipino, the food is just irresistible. Ang sarao sarap kasi!. Meanwhile, it's must to eat rice to enjoy the cuisine. Such bestsellers Menudo, Kare-Kare, pansit bihon, embutido and even ulo ng lechon are worth your taste bud's delight. So last night, I had the bonggang bonggang privilege to enjoy a hefty serving of Filipino cuisine. Thanks to Elna, and Elna's mother, Inang.

Now, read on and be warned that the images that you'll see are meant to ignite you appetite. So should you be into a strict diet, perhaps it's not ideal to browse this page. Pak!

DAY 2: ROAD TO 65 FITNESS CHALLENGE

Time flies soooooo fast. I'm happy that I survived my first day, and yes, my second day. As of writing, I'm now on my third day of burning all the bonggang bonggang fats in my body.

One of the most challenging part in doing my fitness challenge is to wake up every morning; I have to be up by 5:30 and should be exercising by 6. On my second day, too bad, I missed my schedule. But thank God, I was still able to exercise. The moment the clock hit at 6, I was rushing to prepare for my pagpapawis session.

DAY 1: ROAD TO 65 FITNESS CHALLENGE

Finally after weeks of bonggang bonggang contemplation eh I've put myself to another challenge. This time, I'll call it the Road to 65 Fitness Challenge.

Actually, I already thought of my challenge before I went back to the Philippines last May. Obviously, with all the scheduled gala, kainan, and tambay with friends and food tripping with my family, hindi ko kakayanin ang challenge. OA naman kung mag-diet habang nagbabakasyon. On one hand, I exercised everyday when I was in the Philippines. As in araw-araw.

Now that I'm in for another challenge, mejo naluluha ako. Naluluha talaga, kuya? Yes! True! Correct. That's because nakakaluha ang challenges na pagdadaanan. Okay, that's OA na! hahahaha! Well, hindi naman ako pahirap sa sarili ko so walang magaganap na pagbubuhat ng truck, pagtakbo ng sampung oras, o kaya ay pag-akyat ng beinteng bundok. I'm still on a proper and let's say madisiplinang program. Eat healthy and exercise everyday are the two most important element in this challenge.
