BOUNTY OF BRUNEI (SECOND AND LAST DAY)

Apart from visiting Mosques in Brunei, a tourist can also enjoy a walk through in museums, food tripping in a night market, and engaging with the local culture through interaction with the people. On our second and last day of tour in Brunei Darussalam, we visited the Royal Regalia Museum, had fun grabbing cheap and yummy finds in Brunei’s popular night market, and went on more delectable food craze ranging from dining in at restaurants and attending a gathering.

THE BOUNTY OF BRUNEI (FIRST DAY)

Rich in Oil, a sanctuary of Gold and a peaceful country led by a strong Monarch are few characteristics that best possibly describe Brunei Darussalam, the Abode of Peace. Surprisingly, Little did most people know, etched in the panorama of luscious greens is a bustling city that boasts a gamut of tourist attractions ranging from historic sites, delectable food, on-the-road cultural finds, and architectural Islamic influences.

Last week my highschool bestfriend April and her husband Mark went to Brunei for a three-day holiday. My Dad was also with them on the same flight and he’s to stay for twelve days in the Abode of Peace. Given their excitement to explore Brunei and learn about my life overseas, my “tour guide” self was put to the test. Thanks to past experiences in touring around friends and acquaintances, planning our itinerary was a breeze. The must-visit places, food to try and stories to tell were just plotted out smoothly.

Read on to join us in our adventure.

MARKDOWN MADNESS: MOVING OUT SALE!

As of writing, I'm 39 days away from leaving Brunei. As my flight date comes close I can't help but feel emotional. Actually while I was packing some books last week, I realized that I've amassed not only loads of material things but unforgettable experiences as well.

So with few weeks left, I've started to check on which items I plan to take with me back to the Philippines and which ones should be sold and be given away. Viola, here's my upcoming garage sale which I call "Markdown Madness: Moving Out Sale!" Interestingly, my friends will also be joining and selling cool items. We're still thinking if we're gonna sell food and drinks.

So if you're interested to purchase some great items (and support yours truly before I embark on my PhD overseas), read on to know the details.

LETRA-TURA: "SILID"

LETRA-TURA: "PAGSUONG" + "TOP 20 THINGS NOT TO SAY SA FIRST TIMER OFW NA SASAKAY SA EROPLANO"

So ano pang hinihintay mo? Makibasa na at maaliw!

DAY 29 & 30: ROAD TO 65 FITNESS CHALLENGE - "TOP 20 THINGS TO SAY TO YOUR EX-FAT BODY"

Wohoo! I'm in the the final blog entry of documenting my fitness challenge. Gaaaawd! Last Tuesday was my 30th day. Unfortunately, para lang akong lobo na hinipan at binawasan ng hangin in doing my fitness challenge. The last time I checked my weight, ayon, ganon pa rin ata.

I don't feel any panghihinayang with the smashing success - NOT! - of my fitness challenge. If there's anything that I got from it, that's consistency in exercising. In fact, I'm even more challenged to level up my routines. Hopefully I'll get back the discipline in eating the right food.

Don't worry. I won't stop with exercising and my diet. It's just that I've decided to give way to new blog entries that will chronicle a different aspect of my life such as my PhD journey, upcoming travels, and my bakasyon in the Philippines. Baka naman kasi maumay na kayo sa kakapost ko about my fitness eklavus!

In this entry, I will be sharing with you, again, dapat funny at dapat matawa ka kasi pag di ka tumawa eh kukunin ka agad ni...Lord, the TOP 20 things to say to your Ex-FAT body!
